Hi is there a min age requirement for the cruise????
Per Carnival website:
Guests are required to be 21 years old (on embarkation day) to travel. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied in the same stateroom by a parent or guardian 25 or older. Guest ages will be verified at embarkation. Guests not conforming to this policy will be denied boarding and assessed a 100% cancellation penalty. NO exceptions will be made at embarkation.

How old do u have to be to book a room.   I went last year with my two sisters.   But this year my younger sister and I want to go and our older sister doesn't want to.  I'll be 21 and my other sister will be 19.   Does anyone know if we will be able to book it or do we need someone older to come again?
Oh I'm also gonna need some transportation help as I'm gonna look for the closest cheapest motel I can find. Unless, I can find a cheap flight that can get me there ON TIME the day of. Would there be a shuttle from Fort Lauderdale?! When I cruised our Carnival ship disembarked from Ft. Lauderdale.
Yes there are shuttles you can take from Ft. Lauderdale if you need to, however it is about an hour or so (depending on traffic) from Miami, so keep your arrival time to either the night before or early the morning the ship leaves. Plenty of close by cheaper hotels nearby so you should be good there. Message me if you need more info, I'd be happy to help :)

What kind of spending monies should you bring??? I hear there is a card issued that you pay at the end of the cruise but what about anything else on the cruise. And do they take debit cards for anything or is it cash or credit card
I've been on 2 regular cruises before, but hoping to get on the NK's cruise this year! :) You get a room key/card the day you get on the boat, with your name and cabin # on it. You basically use that card to pay for everything you purchase on the boat (when you get a drink you sign a receipt and they charge it to your card, when you buy something in the gift shop same thing, etc), kind of like a tab. You can either deposit cash to your card, to have a credit on it, before you sail, and if you owe anything at the end of the cruise, you just go to the customer service counter and pay off your bill. Otherwise, you can simply attach a credit card number to your sail & sign card and it's automatically billed directly to the visa/mastercard/etc. The only time you'll need actual spending cash/debit is if you're in like Nassau, Bahamas, and decide to buy something. Also, in case you weren't aware, Half Moon Cay is actually an island owned by the cruise line company, so, if you decide to buy anything while you're there, it too will be charged to your room card. The card is great because it deters you from carrying around your cash while you're walking around the boat.

Is the ship bought out by NKOTB or are we cruising with other non-blockheads?
All NKOTB :)

Ive gone on the last 2 cruises and I think getting in the day before is best. You would hate to have a prob and miss the flight the day of-at least if you come in the day b4 if your flight is delayed or something you are still in good shape.
We have been given a hotel suggestion the last 2 years. Both were awesome hotels and both close to airport/hotel/ship. We fly into Miami and both times it was no more then a 10 min cab ride

PLEASE KEEP DISCUSSIONS TO QUESTION/ANSWER ONLY.
Folks, if your question doesn't get answered straight away, please be patient. Sometimes we need more information before we can respond. Other times we may not be online. However if someone has the correct answer, please do feel free to help. Lastly, don't shoot the messenger. This thread is informational only.
The actual gift shop and drinks at Half Moon Cay were put on your sail and sign card. There were a couple other spots you could buy stuff there like souveniers but you had to have cash. So...it would be smart to bring cash with you in Nassau and Half Moon Cay. Otherwise all souveniers and drinks on the boat are put on your sail and sing card. Be aware that you will probably be spending more money that you think you are. Alcoholic beverages are very expensive but pretty strong and that adds up quick. Also, the NKOTB Cruise souveniers are pretty expensive too. I ended up spending about double what I thought I was.
